It still amazes me how strong some kids become because of those unbearable experiences. It must be true "what does not kill you makes you stronger" because my son is a perfect example of that saying! He too lived a life similar to yours and is now featured in the August 2010 article. I always say "he is 13 going on 30" because I have never meet a more mature young man in my life! He is my inspiration and he is what makes me want to help others... Keep moving forward and never look back!
