This story reminds me of all the turmoil in my life as a child and I can't yet put it into words. Being shoved up into the attic and left all night long. Forced to stay in between the door and storm door until late hours, never knowing my own phone number and being forced to eat every last pea on my plate. Your story moves me and only inspires me to keep on advocating for children. Thank you so much for sharing your story. OMG.
